Westmoreland Walkabout

We have had a very busy morning around Westmoreland today.  We have been delivering the latest tri-ward focus and also clearing up some of the streets.

We have picked up litter on Lymore Avenue, Cynthia Avenue, Claude Avenue and Crandale Road. Collecting 3 bags of rubbish from these roads.

We spoke with a number of residents that were pleased to see us out on a Sunday clearing their streets, making the area a cleaner place to live.

We have identified a number of other roads in the area that need a clean up and will be aiming to do these over the next week.

Road Safety

I have asked that the white lines and yellow lines at these junctions of Moorland Road and Crandale road are repainted as well as many of the Double yellow lines in the Triangle itself.

If the lines are worn out they are not enforceable and can cause a danger in the area.
