Twenty is Plenty role out

The council are now consulting on the next phase of the 20MPH scheme for residential roads in Westmoreland that affects the areas that are not already covered by the current scheme.

BATH AND NORTH EAST SOMERSET COUNCIL

(VARIOUS ROADS, LYNCOMBE (PART), OLDFIELD, 
WESTMORELAND AND WIDCOMBE (PART), BATH) (20 M.P.H.
 SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 201-

NOTICE is given that the Bath and North East Somerset Council 
proposes to make an order under provisions contained in the Road 
Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be that it is 
 prohibited to drive a motor vehicle at a speed exceeding 20 miles
 per hour on the lengths of roads in Lyncombe (part), Oldfield,
 Westmoreland and Widcombe (part), Bath, described in the 
Schedule to this notice.
Full details of the proposals are contained in the draft order, which 
 together with a map and a Statement of the Council's Reasons 
for proposing to make the order may be inspected at The 
One Stop Shop, 3-4 Manvers Street, Bath and at the offices 
below during normal office hours.
Objections and representations with respect to the proposal, 
together with the grounds on which they are made must be 
sent by 14th November 2013 either in writing to the 
Transportation Team at the address below, or by email to 
transportation@bathnes.gov.uk. Please quote the title of
the scheme; (Various Roads, Lyncombe (part), 
Oldfield, Westmoreland and Widcombe (part), Bath)
